My Perspective

I'm a therapist because I've had my own process with therapy. It takes strength to reach out, and I'm so glad you're here. 

I believe therapy can help, and that weekly sessions are only part of the picture. True growth and healing happens in applying what we talk about to your life outside of sessions.  


Like recovery, the therapy process is nonlinear, and the road can feel dicey before it starts to even out.


I am honored to sit with my clients in the uncertainty and hold space for this, until the light begins to show through. 

All sessions are currently provided via telehealth due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a space that's completely for you. My style as a therapist hinges on the relationship that I build with each client, so it looks a little different for everyone. There are some universal elements to the way I structure therapy, like the 50 minute hour, and a firm grasp of evidence based practices that can help treat mental health issues. Otherwise, I strive to practice from my authentic center, which means I use humor, creativity, warmth, and directness in the room (or now, in the Zoom). I work to help you process the past and anchor in the present to build the life you deserve. I am trained in and utilize EMDR and TRM in treating trauma. 

Couples Therapy

We all come into the world wired to connect, love, and belong. But early experiences can create dysfunctional patterns that show up in adult relationships, which is where therapy can help. I work with couples to help each person learn to slow down, understand theirs and their partners emotional triggers, and establish new patterns to replace ones that aren't working. I enjoy working with couples around themes of sexuality, healing from trauma, and supporting a partner with an eating disorder.

Group Therapy

I have experience in leading and co-facilitating a wide range of therapy groups. Here's some of them: body image, healthy relationships, DBT, anger management, ACT, empowerment, art therapy, CBT, and traditional process groups.

My rate for an individual 50 minute session is $150. My rate for a 50 minute couples or family session is $200. I do not file with insurance, but I can provide you with a monthly statement for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please reach out to your insurance company to check if your sessions will be covered, and their policies on reimbursement. I have limited sliding scale spots, contact me for details and to check current availability.
